Stuffed friggitelli
Ingredients for 4 people
- friggitelli
- minced beef (or beef and pork)
- bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- milk
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- salt and pepper
Preparation
- In a bowl, season the minced meat with salt, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg, add some breadcrumbs, the egg and a dash of milk and mix well together.
- Cut the stem cap off the friggitelli and remove the seeds inside by carefully using the tip of a knife to avoid breaking the skin. Fill them with the ground seasoned meat mixture (you can keep the cap and use it to plug the peppers, it creates a nice effect).
- Put in a preheated oven for about twenty minutes and serve.
