Stuffed friggitelli

Ingredients for 4 people
  • friggitelli
  • minced beef (or beef and pork)
  • bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • milk
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • In a bowl, season the minced meat with salt, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg, add some breadcrumbs, the egg and a dash of milk and mix well together.
  • Cut the stem cap off the friggitelli and remove the seeds inside by carefully using the tip of a knife to avoid breaking the skin. Fill them with the ground seasoned meat mixture (you can keep the cap and use it to plug the peppers, it creates a nice effect).
  • Put in a preheated oven for about twenty minutes and serve.
